They never say to you, ‘What does his voice sound like? What games does he love best? Does he collect butterflies?’ Instead, they demand, ‘How old is he? How many brothers has he? How much money does his father make?’ Only from these figures do they think they have learned anything about him.

They never say to you, 'What does he do? What are his hobbies? What does he think about his future? What kind of food he likes to eat?' Instead, they demand, 'How old is he? Where does he comes from? Why don't he learned to behave? Why don't he has a settle job? How much money does he make?' Only from these figures do they think they have learned anything about him.
